Starmobile Play Max features 5″ screen, 4000 mAh battery for P3k price

Starmobile has launched two new budget Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphones, the Star Play Max and Play Plus. The Starmobile Play Max is the faster model with a whopping 4000mAh battery capacity and modest specs for P3,290 official price in pesos.

Sporting a 5-inch HD screen, the Play Max promises up to 16 days battery life in standby mode. Internal hardware includes a Spreadtrum quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB expandable storage.

The camera on the back is an 8MP capable of 1080p or Full HD video recording. It is paired with a 5MP front-facing selfie camera with LED flash. The Play Max and Play Plus are already available in the Philippines and come bundled with Smart SIM card with up to 3G or HSPA+ connectivity.
