Sony Xperia Z5 lineup has affected 2015 in more ways than one. With the said lineup introducing various new features and excellent camera performances. With that, though, Sony might be looking at what lies ahead, as a few leaks of an upcoming Z-series handset has recently found its way to the internet.

The so-called Sony Xperia Z6 Lite is Sony’s Z-series handset that will be set in-between the upcoming Z6 Compact and the original Z6. This variant is set to carry a 5-inch display and is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC running on its head. A suggested price of $385 or roughly Php18K (though that price is quite unlikely) is listed for the handset, via Mobile-dad. A release frame of May 2016 can be seen.
Remember, this is merely a rumour and is yet to determine its authenticity. However, by best chance, we might be seeing newer variants of the Z6, which should be expected, since the Z5 trio is technically expected to have another variant, namely the Xperia Z5 Ultra. JERALD says:
for a “lite” variant, that seems to be overpriced. I’ve experienced the quality of Sony back then (possible reason of their overpriced phone), but today’s competition is really tough and most people are more practical today.
LancerEX says:
It’s still under Z series anyway, any phone under than 20k is midrange for Sony. Except if it’s the earlier Z series model.
