
In addition to the new anti-stalking privacy notice when configuring AirTags, the latest iOS 15.4 Beta update adds a fifth American voice for Siri–Apple’s voice assistant. It will most likely be available next month, and the filename has been changed to “Quinn” rather than the Voice 5 only.

According to Axios, the new Siri voice sounds more gender-neutral than previous Siri voices. Quick fact: Apple confirmed that the new voice was recorded by a member of the LGBTQ+ community, but provided no further information about the voice actor’s identity. It now has a wider range of voice options for its virtual assistant as last year the voices were recorded by Black actors as part of the company’s “long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion.”
