Leaked images of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 appear to present the device’s inside and rear designs for the first time.
The photos match the device schematic that leaked last month and are currently being shared on Weibo. The Mix Fold 3 will be equipped with a quad-camera unit, as opposed to the triple camera unit found on the predecessor models.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3’s live image makes it appear as though it might have a leather back. As seen, the projecting rectangle on the back of the phone will include an LED flash on the right, a pill-shaped unit with four cameras on the left, and the Leica logo.
According to some reports, the Mix Fold 3 will have the same quad-camera system as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 telephoto camera with OIS and 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom could all be included in the device.
There are, however, conflicting rumors suggesting the gadget will sport a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX800 camera. In order to learn more about its camera settings, it is therefore advised to wait for future reports.
The MIX Fold 3’s internal foldable screen appears to be shown in the second picture. Since the internal camera is hidden, it provides a full-screen experience, as can be seen. It is said to have an under-display camera, which is the reason why.
The Mix Fold 3 will reportedly include a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W charging and 50W wireless charging, according to additional rumors. According to several sources, this month will see the arrival of the Mix Fold 3 folding phone along with the Pad 6 Max tablet, Redmi Pad 2 tablet, and Redmi K60 Ultra.
