Samsung has quietly introduced its latest budget tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9, in the UAE and Guatemala markets. This tablet serves as the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8, which made its debut in 2021.

The Galaxy Tab A9 boasts an 8.7-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It’s worth noting that this tablet also prioritizes audio quality, featuring dual speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and support for 3D sound.

In terms of design, the Galaxy Tab A9 sports a boxy form factor with a sleek metal unibody. The back panel houses a single circular camera.

Under the hood, you’ll find a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset powering the Galaxy Tab A9. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

Unfortunately, specific details about the tablet’s battery capacity have not been disclosed yet. On the software front, it runs on Android 13 out of the box, offering features like multitasking with split-screen functionality, quick sharing, auto synchronization, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 is available in Silver, Graphite, and Navy color options.

Pricing starts at AED 699 (PHP10,700) on Amazon UAE and GTQ 1,499 (PHP10,800) on Samsung Guatemala.
