We told you earlier that Samsung will put the OneUI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S22 series out for public testing. Before the OneUI 6.0 update, the South Korean tech giant started sending out the September security patch for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe.
According to a recent story, owners of the Galaxy S22 with the model number SM-S90XB can now update their phones to the latest September 2023 software.
This update fixes 62 security holes that were found in the last version of the software. Google says that four of these flaws are “Critical” and 19 are “High.”
Also, Samsung has fixed 35 security holes that were found in different apps, such as the Samsung Keyboard app, security settings, Samsung Knox AI, Dual Messenger, and Messages apps. It is about 235MB in size. It’s important to note that with this new update, the OneUI version will stay at 5.1.
Those who didn’t get the update immediately can download it themselves by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and install.
One thing to keep in mind is that the update is currently only available in Europe. When it will be available in other areas is still being decided.
