
The long wait is finally over! After numerous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 finally launches today in the Philippines here in the Mariott Hotel, Grand Ballroom. The Galaxy Note 9 is deemed by Samsung as the most powerful smartphone to date. In addition, today also marks the company’s 28th anniversary.
One of the device’s main highlight is its S-pen with Remote Control which is now connected through Bluetooth. This means that users can now control their mobile applications such as the camera, gallery, music player, Spotify, and more, through the S-pen.
The Galaxy Note 9 sports a 6.4″ Quad HD+ sAMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It also features a larger 4,000mAh battery supported by wireless and fast charging as well as larger storage variants. The device contains 6/8GB of RAM and 128/512GB of internal storage which can be expandable via a microSD card. In addition, the new smartphone also sports an Intelligent dual camera which is said to adapt just like the human eye. To be specific, the Galaxy Note 9 has a dual 12MP rear camera with OIS and an 8MP front snapper.
The smartphone is available in three colors – Ocean Blue (with yellow S-pen), Metallic Copper, and Midnight Black. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is priced at PHP 55,990 for the 128GB variant. The smartphone will be available on August 24 but users can already pre-order it from August 11 to August 19 in Samsung’s online and local stores as well as through their online partners – Abenson, Argomall, Shopee, Lazada, and MemoXpress.
As an addition, customers who will pre-order the 128GB variant may either choose to get a Gearfit, Gear Iconx or Galaxy Tab A7 with Nanofixit protection and 1-year insurance. On the other hand, if you pre-order the 512GB version of the device, you’ll get a 32-inch HD Smart TV with 2-years of warranty along with Nanofixit protection and 1-year insurance as well. As for the 512GB variant, it will only be available exclusively through pre-order with a price of PHP 75,990.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and the Galaxy Watch also recently launched. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is priced at PHP 44,990.
