Together with the Galaxy S21 Series, Samsung also announced its latest TWS — meet the Galaxy Buds Pro. The company is veering away from the bean-shaped design of the Galaxy Buds Live, however, it claims that the said form factor is a stepping stone to make the Buds Pro fit firmly in your ears without awkward protrusion.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro comes in black, silver, and purple versions. Spec-wise, there’s a 6.5mm tweeter and 11mm woofer on each bud for boosting treble and bass to achieve a great sound experience.
At any rate, the biggest feature here is the intelligent Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient sound. Much like the AirPods Pro Transparency Mode, the Buds Pro automatically recognizes the ambient sound and your voice to switch between ANC and Ambient sound settings. Optionally, there are four levels of Ambient sound adjustment for manual control. Voice recognition is now better, thanks to the 3-mic system that features Wind Shield sound technology for blocking sound.
What’s more, the Galaxy Buds Pro now seamlessly pair from one Galaxy device to another. For example, when you’re using it with a connected Galaxy tablet, it switches to your phone if there’s an incoming call and vice versa.
Battery-wise, Samsung claims up to 18 hours of usage when used with the charging case, while a 5-minute charge allows up to an hour of playtime.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro’s is priced at Php9,990. Pre-order starts January 18 and bundles a free wireless charging pad.
