Available in Black and Gold color variants, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are here in the Philippines. While the Galaxy A8 (2018) is priced at PHP 26,990, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will cost PHP 32,990. I’m sure you’re all waiting for our review and some comparisons with these, we’ll surely upload some! But for now, here are the contents that you’ll get along with the devices.
Both the Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ comes in a white box, with the big blue “A8” and “A8+” written on the center. Inside, you get the smartphone, another box that contains the sim ejector pin, case, and the user manual. You’ll also get a charging adapter, USB, cable, and earphones.
The Galaxy A8 comes with a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display and runs on Exynos 7885 Octa-core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) processor. On the other hand, the bigger variant comes in 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display.
In the camera department, both devices pack a 16MP PDAF camera f/1.7 rear camera w/ LED flash and 16MP FF f/1.9 + 8MP f/1.9 front camera. Both also runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and sports USB Type-C.
