Seemingly completing the refreshed Galaxy A-Series is the Samsung Galaxy A70s. Launched in India, the A70s has a starting price of Rs. 28,999 (~P21K) for the 6GB/128GB model, with the second and top variant (8GB/128GB) selling for Rs. 30,999 (~P22.7K). It’s already available for purchase in India, and it’s expected to be released in other countries including the Philippines very soon.

Aside from the usual spec bump, the Galaxy A70s is sporting the largest smartphone camera sensor to date — Samsung GW1 ISOCELL 64MP with f1.8 aperture. It has the same low-light capability as the 48MP Sony sensor (that’s been rampant this year) but with better detail quality. Interestingly, Samsung is sticking with the triple camera setup — adding a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultrawide. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera housed inside Infinite-U notch.
The Galaxy A70s is a large phone at 6.7″, also a bit hefty due to its 4500mAh battery which supports 25W fast adaptive charging. Colors come in Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Black.
If the Galaxy A70s arrives in the Philippines, we expect it to replace the Galaxy A70 for the same or around P22,990 price.
