Samsung Delays One UI 6 Android 14 Beta, Confirms September 4 India Rollout

Samsung started the One UI 6 test for the Galaxy S23 series in a few places earlier this month. It is based on the Android 14 OS. The One UI 6 Beta 2 was supposed to be released on August 29, but it will now be a week later.

The South Korean tech giant plans to add China, India, Poland, and the United Kingdom, according to an official statement. The update will be sent to these places on September 4, 2023.

The company put the news on its main Chinese Community Forum and said that the second delay would happen in September. It probably put off the test release because of bugs. There were some small problems with the first version of the early One UI 6 build, like animations that stutter or apps and tools that disappear from the home screen. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that Samsung is taking its time in the second test to polish its custom skin for Android 14 to make it more stable.

Beta programs are early copies of the stable release, which is what most users get in the end. One UI 6 will make things easier to use and make other changes to improve the quality of life and the way things look. So, stay tuned for more news about this matter.
