Recently, Samsung showcased their plans for developing the world’s first foldable smartphone. Now there’s a leak of their canceled foldable phone and by the looks of it, there’s no wonder why it got canceled.

This project is called Project V and was leaked by Twitter user @MMDDJ_. Looking at it, it’s just like two Samsung smartphones attached together. However, with a model number SM-G929F, its sort-of forgivable given the design of the phone doesn’t look like a 2018 smartphone. So it’s a good thing they decided to cancel this because it doesn’t look like it would appeal to people now that OEMs are releasing stunning smartphones.
Samsung uses that model number way back 2016 so it seems that this phone’s design was trendy at that time.
ZTE also attempted to create their own foldable smartphone called Axon M that was released last year. But still, Samsung is still trying to make an innovative foldable phone which we assume has an OLED screen.
