The South Korean tech giant unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ today in India. Similar to the recent Samsung Galaxy A8 duo, these smartphones feature Infinity Display. Also, the Galaxy A6 duo are equipped with AI cameras.
The Galaxy A6 features a 5.65-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels. It is powered by Exynos 7 series chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz coupled with 4 GB of RAM. This smartphone has two variants – a 32GB and 64GB storage variants. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery pack.
In the camera department, it has a 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 16MP with f/1.9 aperture front snapper.
The bigger brother sports a 6-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 that includes 1.8 GHz octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with a 3,500mAh battery pack.
The Samsung Galaxy A6+ has a dual rear camera setup of 16MP + 5MP sensors. It comes with a 24MP with f/1.9 aperture for taking selfies. Both smartphones features Live Bokeh and Background Blur Shape. Both smartphone also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and Samsung Experience UI.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 32GB and 64GB models are priced at Rs. 21,990 and Rs. 22,990 respectively – which are around PHP 16,600 and PHP 17,800 when converted directly. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A6 carries the price tag of Rs 25,990, which is roughly around PHP 19,990.
