Wondering why Pocophone F1 has the design advantage over the OnePlus 6T, the polycarbonate body offers better protection against drops. But if you’re confident in your skills and would rather have the premium feel, the 6T won’t fail you.
VIDEO: OnePlus 6 Review – Is it really the speed you need?
Most users will enjoy using the saturated and ink-ish blacks of the Optic AMOLED panel although both are set at 1080p resolution. Additionally, the 6T has an incredibly small notch.
For enthusiasts out there, under the display fingerprint scanner works faster than any of its kind out there but not as fast as the traditional one including Poco’s.
With both Snapdragon 845 inside, performance is decided by the MIUI 9.6(POCO UI) based on Android 8.1 Oreo against the latest and more optimized Oxygen OS based on 9.0 Pie.
Camera-wise, the 6T comes out on top thanks to its larger 16MP+20MP main camera setup with a wide field of view. Although the 20MP selfie camera of F1 seems to be better on paper, the 6T’s 16MP can capture more with the same wide field of view.
Battery capacity goes to the Pocophone F1 due to its larger 4000mAh although the OnePlus 6T is relatively large too at 3700mAh along with the fast charging at 20W.
For almost half the price of the 6T, the Pocophone F1 is a steal for anyone. But if you’re willing to spend twice the amount for overall better experience across the board, the 6T here is still a great choice given its proven software support.
