This model is very lightweight being one of the smallest stereo Bluetooth headsets available in the market. It stays put when you’re in action or moving without bending the quality of the sound which I would say, is really good – crisp and clear.

It features two slightly whopping earbuds connected in a flat, fettuccine wire that gives a matte and velvety feeling. The headsets which come in classic colors, black or white were patterned in a sweat proof design.

FEATURES

This sweat proof design makes the device perfect for working out in the gym, and it can even be used outdoors when raining.

IMG_0035The headset is very easy to operate. The slab that runs along the wire reveals three buttons serving different functions. The middle button functions as a call/answer, end and redial button and it can also put the music to a pause during playback. The buttons with + and sign are obviously part of the volume control but it also performs double duty: to skip track forward and backward by giving it a long press for a second. With this, user can easily advance to the next or go back to previous music.

Unlike other Bluetooth headsets that require separate app to play music via Bluetooth, Go 2 will automatically play once connected to your Bluetooth-enabled phone or tablet. It will easily remember your phone and automatically pair with it. After activating the Bluetooth on your headset, you only need to hold down for a second on the middle button to turn it on. The headset will automatically pair after that. For a new device, be careful though to not hold down the button too long or the headphones will go into setup mode and won’t automatically pair with the device you’ve already set up.

The only drawback is that the headsets only last for 4.5 hours that you’ll have to charge it again for 2.5 hours max, not bad though. But if you hand an additional charge of $20 or Php 890, your headset will come with Backbeat Go 2 + Charging Case — a protective carrying case that has a built-in battery for charging on the go.

For starters it might be a little complicated, but the good thing is there is a voice prompt that will alert you on every action you do with your headset. It will alert you when the headset is on, when it is connecte and how full the battery is. Also, the voice prompt will alert you if your headsets’ battery is already weak so you wouldn’t freak out when it suddenly dies. The port for charging your device is located on the right ear bud and when charging, a bright red LED will flash on it.

Since your headset is connecte to your phone via Bluetooth, a battery-life indicator for the headset will be displaye at the top of the screen, though this feature is exclusive for iOS device only and not for Android phones.

There you have it! Overall, we really liked the features of this superior wireless Bluetooth in-ear headphone specifically the sweat proof design and most especially the quality of the sound it plays. So if you’re looking for the perfect headsets to go with you on your commute and workout, keep the BackBeat Go 2 at the top of your list.
