Panasonic’s Lumix CM1 smartphone is said to possess one of the most complex camera algorithms in a smartphone camera to date, however, smartphone-wise, it’s not as exciting as its camera features, with that though, Panasonic released a new rendition of the smartphone, without the phone part. Everyone, meet the Lumix CM10.

The Lumix CM10 is now technically a smart camera (what?) and packs a 4.7-inch 1080p FHD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM and a Snapdragon 801 running on its helm. It has an Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, which is a little bit more updated than the Android KitKat that the CM1 packed before.
The Smart camera isn’t exactly something that can be compared to action cams, which are all brewed cameras, though the Lumix CM10 is still a sensual buy, specifically if you’re looking for an Android-heavy camera, without the phone function. Its price tag is a bit hefty, with a price of $850 or roughly around Php40K in converted PH price. The CM10 goes available in Japan on February 25th, though a global release is yet-to-be-determined.
