OPPO is making AI technology more accessible with the launch of the OPPO Reno12 F 5G.
The device sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers a peak brightness of 600 nits too. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The OPPO Reno12 F 5G features a 50MP Main Camera for clear, high-quality portraits, a 2MP Macro Camera for bokeh effects, an 8MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera for wide shots, and a 32MP Front Camera for selfies. AI Portrait Retouching enhances photo quality by improving skin tones and clarity.
The upgraded AI Eraser 2.0 simplifies photo editing with its “Remove People” function for removing unwanted elements and high accuracy for object recognition with Smart Lasso and Paint Over.
The AI Studio app allows users to create digital avatars with various filters, requiring an internet connection.
Connectivity is reliable with AI LinkBoost, which features a 360-Degree Surround Antenna for strong signal strength, reduces latency by up to 6%, and boosts video sharing speeds by 12%. BeaconLink improves Bluetooth capabilities for voice calls up to 200 meters and supports NFC for digital services.
Additional AI features include AI Writer for content ideas, AI Summary for article condensation, and AI Recording Summary for voice note summaries.
Running on ColorOS 14 and the Trinity Engine, the phone ensures smooth performance and efficient power use. The 5,000mAh battery provides up to 1.94 days of regular use and supports fast charging with 45W SUPERVOOC™ technology.
The phone features a modern Cosmos Ring Design, available in Amber Orange and Olive Green, with a Halo Light that syncs with notifications and music.
The OPPO Reno12 F 5G is priced at PHP 18,999 and is available for pre-order until August 30. It can be purchased in OPPO authorized stores and online. Pre-orders come with a free TJ654 Bluetooth Speaker.
The OPPO Reno12 F 5G will be available on Lazada from August 20, followed by Shopee and TikTok Shop from August 27.
