
OPPO has finally started rolling out Android 8.0 update to its flagship smartphone, OPPO R11s which was launched a couple of months ago. The update brings a bunch of new features and one of the major highlights of the update is the support for dual sim and dual VoLTE feature.
The update also adds other major updates like the addition of the album “Memories”. Just like Apple’s iPhone, it recognizes important events, trips, as well as people in the photos and videos. It arranges them accordingly and also supports editing and sharing of the media files.
Aside from those major additions mentioned, they also added some fitness-related functions, such as pedometer which counts steps taken and distance traveled. Also, the weather application has been updated. It can now identify the location to provide weather information.
OPPO R11s features a 6.0-inch full HD + display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It runs on Color OS 3.2 and comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The 4GB RAM model of Oppo R11s has a price tag of 2,999 Yuan roughly around $454, the 6GB RAM model costs 3,599 Yuan (approximately $545).
