
Oneplus has officially launched the OnePlus 5 as their sixth device since the first OnePlus in 2014. The OnePlus 5 is a big upgrade from OnePlus 3 and 3T especially in terms of hardware specs–all for $479 price or about P24,000 pesos in the Philippines.

The OnePlus 5’s biggest features include the 20MP + 16MP dual cameras which are the same combination of the iPhone 7 Plus, one being a telephoto producing DSLR-like bokeh effects. Meanwhile, the chipset is unexpectedly an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 graphics paired with 6 or 8GB RAM and up to 128GB memory.
Under-the-hood is also a 3,300mAh battery that powers the 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD AMOLED display. It supports Dash Charge which translates to 60% in 30 minutes while the port is a USB 3.1 Type-C.
The OnePlus 5 will be available starting this July in Midnight Black and Slate Gray while priced at $479 for the base model and $550 for the max option.
