
Details about the upcoming OnePlus 13R has surfaced online. It will be the successor to this year’s OnePlus 12R.
According to 91mobiles, the OnePlus 13R will be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 5 which will launch in China this month.
The leaks online revealed that the OnePlus 13R will sport a 6.78-inch (1264×2780) AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 450PPI. It is expected to have a higher peak brightness than its predecesor.
Under the hood, it will be powered by the 3.3GHz 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core chip with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will also pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, which is lower compared to the 12R’s 100W charging support.
For optics, it will be equipped with a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, 1n 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP portrait lens. Upfront will be a 16MP selfie camera.
Other leaked specs include Android 15 with OxygenOS 15.0 on top, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanner, and IR blaster.
The OnePlus 13R will also be slightly thinner and shorter as well as a gram lighter than the OnePlus 12R.
Pricing details about the smartphone are yet to be revealed. The OnePlus 12R is priced at PHP 43K, the OnePlus 13R should fall around that price range when it will launch in the Philippines.
The OnePlus 13R is expected to be released globally in January next year.
