OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R from the 13 series to the global market starting in India.
The brand has confirmed, through its Global website, that they will announce it on January 7, 2025. The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will also accompany the series.
To recap, the OnePlus 13 was launched in China back in October 2024 sporting a 6.82-inch 2K+ LTPO AMOLED panel with up to 1600nits typical brightness, up to 4500nits peak brightness, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM Dimming, Dolby Vision, and Crystal Shield super ceramic glass protection.
It is powered by the latest 4.32GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor with Adreno 830 GPU, up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and a large 6,000mAh battery capacity with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, and 50W wireless charging.
For optics, it is equipped with a triple 50MP Hasselblad camera system at the back and a 32MP selfie camera.
It is confirmed to be available in Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn colorways.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will also sport a Sapphire Blue colorway to match the OnePlus 13’s Midnight Ocean.
On the other hand, the brand has yet to reveal the full specification of the OnePlus 13R, but it is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 SoC, a 6,000mAh battery capacity, and a triple-rear camera configuration. It will also be available in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail colorways.
However, rumors have already surfaced online revealing its alleged specs including a 6.78-inch (1264×2780) AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera.
OnePlus has yet to reveal official pricing details. The series will go official on January 7, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
