
The Nothing Phone (3a) series is set to launch today, March 4, at 6 PM GMT+8.
But, before the announcement, the devices were displayed at Qualcomm’s booth during MWC 2025 in Barcelona, confirming their design and the use of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset.
Akis Evangelidis, Nothing’s co-founder announced major camera upgrades, with the (3a) Pro featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP front camera. The periscope lens is expected to offer 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 60x digital zoom.
The devices are said to feature AI capabilities, which are increasingly becoming a standard in smartphone photography.
