With Nokia announcing its return in the mobile industry, leaks have now started arriving on the internet. The latest is that two flagship Nokia Android smartphones with IP68 waterproofing (Xperia X Performance) are already in the pipeline and will be released by the end of the year or early next year.
The specs are flagship calibre with two versions in the works: a 5.2-inch and a 5.5-inch–all featuring alleged 2K OLED display. The processors are said to be the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset while the main camera of the two is a 23MP main snapper with a promised advance sensor features.
Although the specs sheet is not complete, the bigger model is said to be priced around $500 USD or roughly P25k before taxes. It’s also expected these will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with stock Android UI.
The comeback of the legend is imminent; will you switch side?
