Nikon has officially launched the Nikon Coolpix P1100 in the US.
The camera has a 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD, allowing flexible viewing angles.
The camera comes with a 24-3000mm (35mm equivalent) lens in a 1,410-gram body. It features a 16.79-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor with an f/2.8 to f/8 aperture range.
Nikon has officially launched the camera, the successor to the P1000 in its super-zoom bridge camera lineup.
Its digital zoom extends up to 12000mm, though at the cost of image quality.
To help stabilize shots, Dual Detect Optical VR provides vibration reduction up to 4.0 stops.
The P1100 supports 4K video at up to 30p and includes timelapse functionality. Clean HDMI output is available for external displays or recorders.
Nikon has not specified major changes in battery life compared to the P1000, but the switch to a USB-C port allows for more convenient charging.
The Nikon Coolpix P1100 is priced at USD1,099.95 (approx. PHP63,939), slightly higher than the P1000’s launch price of $1,000. It is expected to be available by late February.
