MediaTek is preparing to launch a new chip in its flagship Dimensity 9400 series.
While the company has not confirmed the name, recent teasers and leaks suggest that this will be an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9300+, and is expected to be called the Dimensity 9400e.
On the other hand, benchmark scores are already available, with the chip reportedly scoring over 2.1 million points on AnTuTu and achieving 95fps in the Aztec 1440p GPU test.
The new MediaTek chipset seems aimed at upper midrange or budget-flagship phones, like the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and possibly the OnePlus Nord 5.
Full details are expected to be revealed next week when MediaTek officially announces the chip.
