
Apple has introduced the new MacBook Air (2025), now powered by the M4 chip.
This update brings Apple Intelligence features, better battery life, a new 12MP webcam with Center Stage, and a base configuration with 16GB of RAM.
The MacBook Air M4 is available in two sizes, 13-inch and 15-inch. Both displays offer 500 nits of brightness, a P3 wide color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and True Tone technology.
As mentioned earlier, the webcam has also been upgraded to a 12MP front-facing camera with Center Stage, which keeps users in the frame during video calls. It also supports Desk View, allowing for a split-screen view of the user’s face and a top-down perspective of their desk.
Under the hood, it is powered by an M4 chip, it features a 10-core CPU and up to a 10-core GPU. The base model now comes with 16GB of RAM, which also supports Apple Intelligence, Apple’s suite of AI-powered features.
Also, unlike the M3 model, which was limited to a single 6K display, the M4 Air can now support two external monitors.
Now onto the pricing, the new MacBook Air M4 is available in two screen sizes. The 13-inch with 16GB+256GBÂ is priced at PHP64,990, 16GB+512GB is priced at PHP77,990, and the 24GB+512GB is priced at PHP90,990.
Meanwhile, the 15-inch is available in three configurations as well. The 16GB+256GBÂ costs PHP79,990, 16GB+512GBÂ is priced at PHP92,990, and the highest config of 24GB+512GB is priced at PHP105,990,
