with 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H CPU goes official

LG has announced its first-ever gaming laptop, the UltraGear Gaming Laptop 17G90Q.

The laptop features a 17.3-inch IPS LCD panel with 1920×1080 resolution. Its display has a 300Hz refresh rate with a 1 millisecond response time. Powering it is an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card. The UltraGear laptop comes with dual-channel memory and a dual SSD setup.

There’s also a cooling system that uses a vapor chamber in the laptop that is claimed to keep it cool even when pushed to the limits. It has a thickness of under 21.4mm and weighs less than 2.7kg. Other features include an RGB keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, a 1080p webcam with dual mic and an IR camera for Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 6 with Intel Killer Wireless, stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, and UltraGear Studio software.

For connectivity, it comes with two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, a headphone jack, an HDMI port, Ethernet, and a microSD card reader. For battery, it packs a 93Wh battery underneath the hood to power the system.

The LG UltraGear 17G90Q will be available starting early 2022. Pricing is yet to be announced so stay tuned.
