LG confirms that the G6 is about to go official on Feb 26 at Mobile World Congress.
According to AndroidCentral, the launched date was confirmed via a media invite. Just two weeks ago, LG released a video teaser of the upcoming G6.
The upcoming flagship phone is the successor to the modular G5. The G5 met with negative feedback last year so the company decided to remove the modular accessories.

Ditching its modular concept, the G6 will be sporting a super wide 5.7-inch 18:9 QHD display size equating to 564ppi or QHD+ as LG calls it.
Despite the large screen size, the smartphone’s build is said to be smaller compared to other devices with same screen size. Furthermore, the smartphone will include waterproofing.
We are expecting LG G6 to pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 under the hood.
In a recent rumor, LG is trying to sway Google in integrating the exclusive AI to their upcoming G6. Should Google agree to its offer, LG’s new smartwatch will also include the aforementioned AI.
Otherwise, the South Korean company will rely on Amazon as an alternative. This deal si most likely to happen as LG has been using Alexa AI for its home appliances.
