Following the launch of the 200-megapixel Motorola X30 Pro, Lenovo unveiled the Legion Y70 in China, which in some ways seems to be the X30 Pro’s rival.
Even while it’s not a gaming phone like the Legion Phone Duel 2 or Y90, the Y70 has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. It appears to use the same 6.67-inch OLED display as the X30 Pro, which has a 144hz refresh rate, 1500hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The only difference is that it has a flat screen and no in-display fingerprint reader to keep it thin (under 8mm) while still fitting in many graphite sheets, a sizable 5047sqm vapor chamber, and a 5100mAh battery with support for 68w cable charging.
Lenovo kept the Legion Y70’s camera arrangement understated with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, as well as a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
ZUI 4.0, which is based on Android 12, takes care of the software, and despite being small, you do get dual speakers.
