Lenovo is slowly phasing out Motorola though Motorola wouldn’t technically disappear as a whole. Motorola’s phone business will now be under Lenovo’s phone business with a few high-end handsets going to be under the Moto name while a few budget-wise handsets going to be under Lenovo’s Vibe series. When you think about it, it’s not that much of a loss for Motorola. They’ll still be under the smartphone industry, not entirely as a whole company now, though, but rather a department in Lenovo.
Future handsets from Motorola will now pertain the Lenovo logo, however, it is colorized with blue, for distinguishing purposes, while the iconic “M” logo of Motorola will still be seen. Despite losing prowess as a company, Motorola is looking to provide all of its available resources and help Lenovo grow, since they are now one and part of Lenovo’s division. What do you guys think?
