Lenovo and Intel, with their fourth-year partnership, are delivering Legion of Champions IV (LoC IV) for all competitive gamers, which will be held in Bangkok from December 12-14 for the grand finals showdown. Legion of Valkyries(LoV), on the other hand, is inviting all-female competitive gamers for the first-ever all-female e-sports tournament.
There will be 12 markets competing to win the title of Asia Pacific’s greatest gaming champion, and for the first time, New Zealand and Australia will participate. Aside from new participants, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) are going to be introduced as well.
Local champions and grand finalists will be competing for a total combined prize pool of $89,100USD (~ PHP 4.51 million) across two games – the largest of any LoC tournament yet.
At the end of the competition, the winning team for PUBG will walk away with $4,000USD and $10,000USD worth of Legion devices, while the winners for CS:GO will walk away with $5,000USD and $12,500USD worth of Legion devices.

Lenovo is also introducing the first-ever all-female esports tournament. These competitive gamers will battle it out in the gaming arena of CS:GO. The new tournament is made not only to entice women to showcase their skills but also to create additional opportunities for female gaming enthusiasts, whether you’re experienced or amateur.
Qualifiers for both LoC and LoV will take place on the Rise of Legion platform, to get a chance to compete with other gamers around the world. For shortlisted teams, they will advance to the local group stages across all markets. The top four LoV finalists in the region will then join the LoC IV Grand Finals in Bangkok as a full-fledged female team.
