The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region announced on Thursday via a Facebook post that the Legarda Flyover in Manila will be partially closed for repairs from July 6 to November 6.
This project, overseen by the DPWH – North Manila District Engineering Office, aims to enhance road safety and efficiency in the National Capital Region.
According to the DPWH, the repairs in Legarda Flyover will focus on replacing 19 damaged expansion joints. Initially, the westbound lane towards Legarda will be partially closed, covering half the width of the lanes. Once this is completed, the same procedure will be applied to the remaining lanes and the eastbound lanes towards Magsaysay Boulevard.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid expected traffic congestion during this period. The DPWH assured that affected lanes will be reopened immediately upon completion of the repairs.
