Infinix has unveiled the concept for its first-ever tri-folding smartphone—the Infinix ZERO Series Mini. Check it out!
Unlike the recently launched HUAWEI Mate XT, which is the world’s first commercially available tri-fold smartphone, the Infinix ZERO Series Mini takes the tri-fold mechanism on a different approach. It can be flipped on an outward folding design that utilizes dual hinges. This allows the display to be folded and unfolded vertically and fit into three different sizes.
The ZERO Series Mini sports a dual camera setup at the back and a punch-hole camera at the front.
The concept phone can be used not just as a smartphone but also as a compact camera that users can mount on their bike, purse, or dashboard of their car when folded down. It will arrive with a special strap accessory that will allow it to be mounted.
Another feature of the smartphone is its dual-screen experience, which can be used when translating texts that can be viewed side-by-side when folded. It can also act as an action camera that can be clipped on a bag strap.
Infinix is looking into other applications for the Zero Mini tri-fold, a multifunctional gadget designed for customers who desire to replace multiple gadgets with a ‘single, adaptable solution’.
The brand has yet to reveal further information about the concept device, we can expect Infinix to reveal more during the MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
Stay tuned for more updates.
