Huawei has officially announced its latest smartwatch in China, the Huawei Watch D.
The Huawei Watch D features a 1.64-inch HD (456 x 280) AMOLED display with 326 PPI retina-level clarity. It is built in a custom-made high hardness aviation-grade aluminum with improved durability and scratch resistance, as well as IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
The smartwatch has been granted a Class II medical device by the Drug Administration of China. It also boasts a Blood Pressure and ECG monitoring feature. For blood pressure, it uses Huawei TruBP which employs micro air pumps and airbags, this allows for 40mmHg to 230mmHg blood pressure measurement. For ECG, the Huawei Watch D relies on the TruSeen 5.0+ technology to achieve accurate results.
Moreover, Huawei claims that the watch has a 7-day battery life, and it can be charged wirelessly. Other features of it include a temperature sensor, multi-functional NFC, and it can detect Atherosclerosis, Arrhythmia, as well as Sleep Apnea risks.
The Huawei Watch D is available in Classic Black and Elegant Titanium colorways. It is priced at CNY 2,988 (~PHP 23,481) and will go on sale in China on December 25.
