Huawei has officially announced its first-ever E Ink screen device designed for reading and writing down notes, the Huawei MatePad Paper. It features a 10.3-inch E Ink display with smart refresh technology, and a special anti-glare layer that supports 32 levels of brightness for low-light reading.
The Huawei MatePad Paper comes with a custom version of HarmonyOS 2 with smart content transfer from Huawei devices. It also allows users to take notes or scribble on them using the Huawei M-Pencil and convert handwritten notes into text. In addition, the MatePad Paper also supports features such as Huawei Super Device, voice record, and split-screen.
The aforementioned Smart Refresh mode lets users play videos, browse the web, and navigate the interface faster than other E Ink displays.
