
Huawei recently unveiled its smartphone beasts at a special event held in Paris, France. Both the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro features the same notch that was popularized by Apple. Many were stunned when the unveiling occurred. – including us! Now, Huawei is finally bringing these smartphones to the Philippines.
The Huawei P20 features a 5.8-inch 2240×1080 RGBW LCD, 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 970 and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The P20 comes with an upgraded Leica Dual Camera with a massive 1/2.3″ 12MP RGB sensor with OIS, f/1.6 lens. The second snapper is a 20MP monochrome shooter – same as on the Mate 10, also behind f/1.6 lens. On top of that, it also features PDAF, laser, contrast, and depth detection, and a dual-tone LED flash.
This new Huawei smartphone will be available in Twilight, Black, Midnight Blue, Pink Gold and Champagne Gold color variants.
The Huawei P20 Pro, on the other hand, comes in a 6.1 inches, 1080 x 2244 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio display. Same with the base variant, it is powered by Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo – coupled with 128 GB ROM and 6 GB of RAM.
The highlight of this model is its Leica Triple Camera. There’s the 40MP large 1/1.7″ color sensor with f/1.8 lens and OIS, and an 8MP color one with f/2.4 telephoto lens. Not just that, it also has a separated monochrome sensor, which is a 20MP camera with f/1.6 aperture.
