
Huawei has silently unveiled its latest smartphone under the nova series in South Africa, the Huawei nova Y9a.
The smartphone features a 6.63-inch notch-less IPS LCD display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, and a 4,300mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge Fast charging.
For cameras, it equips a quad-rear camera configuration in a circular module that consists of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP 120-degree ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro and depth lens. On top of the device is a pop-up camera module with a 16MP selfie camera.

The Huawei nova Y9a is priced at ZAR 6,499 (~PHP 21,264) and is now available for pre-order in South Africa. The smartphone is also heading to markets in the Middle East and Middle Asia.
