HUAWEI has introduced the FreeBuds 6 wireless earbuds in China.
The Freebuds uses an 11mm dynamic driver and a micro-flat tweeter, covering a frequency range of 14 Hz to 48 kHz.
HUAWEI claims they are the first semi-open earbuds with dual sound units, supporting high-resolution 48 kHz/24-bit audio. The earbuds also adjust sound output based on their fit.
The earbuds support touch controls for playback, calls, and volume, while the built-in AI assistant Celia offers 21-language translation and real-time interpretation.
Battery-wise, the TWS extends up to 36 hours with the charging case, and a 5-minute charge provides 2.5 hours of playback. Also, smart charging is said to improve battery longevity by 37%.
Additional features include long-distance tracking and 50-meter precision finding. Bluetooth 5.2 enables low-latency gaming and multi-device connectivity. The earbuds are also IP54-rated for water resistance.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 is priced at CNY999 (around PHP 7,899) and will be available for pre-order starting March 20, 2025. While official sales starts at March 28, 2025.
