Honda Unveils ‘Space-Hub’ and ‘Saloon’ EV Concepts

Honda is making waves in the electric vehicle (EV) scene, unveiling two futuristic electric concepts at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

The standout is the Saloon concept, a game-changer in sedan design. Honda’s CEO, Toshihiro Mibe, spilled the beans that a production model, closely resembling the Saloon, will hit U.S. roads in 2026, followed by a global release.

The Saloon catches the eye with standout features such as a striking screen-like grille and impressive gull-wing doors. Its sleek design, including a low roofline and smooth silhouette, isn’t just about aesthetics – it’s all about reducing air resistance to make the most out of its range. Say goodbye to the typical sedan appearance; the Saloon embraces a modern, flowing design.

The Saloon marks the beginning of Honda’s new EV line, called Honda 0, promising advancements in EV tech, faster charging, and improved efficiency.

Honda also teased the Space Hub concept van, though it’s uncertain if a similar model will hit the markets.

This cutting-edge electric model features a vast glass roof that stretches over passengers, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. In the back, there’s a cozy passenger area with facing benches, allowing for flexible seating arrangements to bring people together and connect them with the outside world.

The Space-Hub also showcases a unique rear-end design with a rectangular lighting strip and no traditional windshield. Unfortunately, Honda hasn’t spilled more details about this concept.
