
HMD Global officially launched the HMD Aura², the predecessor of the HMD Aura released in 2024.
The device comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate and an HD resolution of 576 x 1280 pixels.
For cameras, it offers a single rear camera of 13MP main camera with rear flash LED paired with an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Unisoc 9863A chipset paired with 4GB of RAM which you can expand up to 4G virtually, and 256GB of internal storage which you can also expand via microSD card of 128GB.
Battery-wise, it is packed with a 5000mAh battery complimented by a 10W wired charging via Type-C.
Lastly, the HMD Aura² runs on Android 14 Go operating system and supports 4G network.
Although the HMD Aura² has been officially unveiled and listed in HMD’s official website, the device will be officially available on March 13, 2025.
However, the device is priced at AUD169 (approx. PHP6,199). Will it be released in the Philippines? Stay tuned.
