Google has officially announced the launch dates of the new Google Pixel 9a. Check it out!
The new Google Pixel 9a will be released first on April 10 in the US, Canada, and the UK. It will then go on sale on April 14 in Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Czechia, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and Finland.
The device will finally be available on April 16 in Australia, India, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Japan will follow, but the exact release date is yet to be revealed.
The Pixel 9a was initially unveiled earlier this month with a starting price of USD 499 (~PHP 28,632) but with no exact availability dates. According to reports, the delay in launch was due to a component quality issue, which caused Google to delay the release. This was taken as a precaution, even though it appeared that the problem only affected a few units.
To recap, the Google Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch FHD+ pOLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2700 nits peak brightness, HDR support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Powering it is Google’s proprietary Tensor G4 processor with Titan M2 security coprocessor. Accompanying the chips inside are 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, and a 5,100mAh battery capacity with 23W wired fast charging.
Camera-wise, it boasts a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide shooter. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera.
Available colors are Iris, Peony, Porcelain, and Obsidian.
Stay tuned for more updates.
