
Google has officially launched the Google Pixel 9a globally.
The Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1080 x 2424 resolution, and a peak brightness of 2700 nits.
The device is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and supports HDR.
For cameras, the rear camera offers a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens. While on the front, it comes with a 13MP front camera.
The phone runs on Google’s Tensor G4 chip with a Titan M2 security coprocessor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage in India.
It ships with Android 15 and promises seven years of OS updates, security patches, and Feature Drops.
Now onto the AI features, the device includes an Add Me (adds the photographer to group shots), Best Take (merges expressions from multiple photos), and Magic Editor (AI-powered photo editing). A-series users also get Macro Focus for detailed close-up shots.
Powering the device is a 5100mAh battery that supports 23W wired charging.
Globally, the Google Pixel 9a 128GB model starts at USD499 (approx. PHP28,599), while the 256GB model costs USD599 (approx. PHP34,299). Official sales begin in April through Google Store and retailers.
