Google has just unveiled its latest foldable phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This is the second generation of Google’s foldable devices, bringing several improvements over its predecessor.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold features a taller external screen and a more compact design when folded, making it easier to carry around. It boasts a 6.3-inch AMOLED display on the outside and an 8-inch internal Super Actua Flex display when opened up. Both screens have a smooth 120Hz refresh rate too.
Under the hood, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset. This is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, offering plenty of power and space for all your apps, photos, and files. The phone runs on Android 14 and will receive updates for 7 years.
The camera setup is another highlight, with a 48MP main sensor, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens on the back. There are also 10MP selfie cameras on both the internal and external displays.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is equipped with a 4,650mAh battery, which supports 21W wired and wireless charging.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold starts at $1,799 (approx. PHP102,499), with pre-orders available now. The phone will officially go on sale on September 4.
