Amazon Echo Dot has already met its match with Google Home Mini. Of course, the bigger Google Home Max is against the base Echo. While Amazon boasts their AI Alexa, Google Assistant is also equipped on the smart home accessories from Google.
The Google Home Mini has four LED lights under it to indicate that it is listening to the command. It also “360-degree” sound and has a Micro USB charger. Retailing at $49, it will be available starting October 19. Both it and the Home Max has Voice Match to identify different voices in the household.
Moving on, the $399 Google Home Max boasts 4.5-inch subwoofers and custom 0.7-inch tweeters. Not only that, but Google boasted that the Max is 20 times louder than Google Home. The device also utilizes “Smart Sound” system which lets it optimize the sounds depending on the area space.
When users avail the pre-order for the Google Home Max this November, they will get 12 months of YouTube Music for free. Yet, it will start shipping in December. Stay tuned for updates!
