
Our phone’s battery is as important as the phone itself, its a no-brainer as to why. Our smartphones wouldn’t be functional without them, however, this often results to the users being way to paranoid on protecting their batteries. With that in mind, we wanted to ease things up for you and provide you with a list of five misconceptions on smartphone battery.
Okay, this was a bit as far fetched as it can be. Some smartphone users are actually concerned thought their batteries contained an immeasurable amount of memory, which could consume the phone. Its a pretty far fetched assumption, but we can’t blame them to be very paranoid about it. The truth is, batteries are typical an add-on, which shouldn’t have any memory whatsoever. Its just a pretty common misconception of people that are pretty well – upped and a bit paranoid on maintaining their phones performance rate.

This misconception has been around, since the older days of cellular phones and i can see why people have believed it so much. It is common for people to think that leaving your phone overnight, while charging would eventually damage the battery and whatnot. Technically, this isn’t the case. it is actually advisable to always charge up your device at at least 40-80%, for this is the strong point of the device. Getting your phone all prepped up on the night, for another morning of activities is usually a good thing and should always be a frequent activity everyday, so don’t be afraid to charge up your device overnight, they’ll need it for activities on the day ahead.

This isn’t actually remotely true, for as long as your using a typical charger, there is no harm in using your device, while charging. However, it might have a few problems in hand, when you’re using a cheap knock-off charger, but most of the time, when your using the designated charger, its always okay to use it while charging. Don’t be afraid to use them, while charging.

Turning off your smartphone for emergency purposes isn’t actually something that you should be worried about. To be honest, this might actually be something that the phone will benefit upon, since on some devices, rebooting or turning off the device actually brings back the lost battery functionality, which is cool to know. So, if you’re phone has done its job and done it great, try to give it a break once it a while, it’ll actually be better for your device.

Remember, cheap knock-off chargers are the only one that you should look out for. Other than that, using other branded chargers that are legitimate won’t do harm on your phone. Actually, this is already proven and tested by many people. People have been known to have one particular charger in a household (take note, the charger is a simple add-on from a smartphone purchase) and it works for them. Some people that i know, often just borrow chargers from a few people they know and for as long as its compatibility, everything will work at a 100%. So, if you’re a bit worried in using your brother’s or sister’s charger, simply because they differ in brand, well worry no more.
