Attention! The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has debunked the supposed declaration of December 22 as a special half-working day, labeling it as fake.
PCO Sec. Cheloy Garafil clarified the misinformation, emphasizing that there is no truth to the circulating Proclamation No. 427, which falsely claims December 22 as a special half-working day.
Also, Cesar Chavez, Presidential Assistant for Strategic Communications, issues an apology for failing to verify the authenticity of the forged document that falsely asserts Malacañang declared December 22 as a special half-working day.
It turns out the real Proclamation No. 427, as per the Official Gazette, pertains to the recognition of nine individuals as “manlilikha ng bayan.”
