An Instagram user named Marcel Campos uploaded a shot of the upcoming Asus smartphone, and it’s probably the Lite variant. The render matches the recent claims of Evan Blass in his twitter account.
The smartphone in the leaked render that Evan Blass tweeted is in a white variant. The bezels are smaller and it doesn’t have a home button on the chin. At the top, we can make out two camera lens on opposite sides, a LED flash, and the earpiece. According to @evleaks, the Zenfone 5 Lite has a FHD+ resolution. The display size isn’t specified but we presume its between 5.7” to 5.9”.
According to the leakster, the four cameras are 2 x 20MP selfie and 2 x 16MP rear. As per Gizmochina, it might be interpreted as 20MP + 20MP on the front and 16MP + 16MP on the rear, this sure is an overkill for a “Lite” phone. So its most likely 2MP + 20MP for the front cameras and 2MP +16MP for the rear cameras.
The Taiwanese company also confirmed the launch date of the Zenfone 5 which will happen on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona.
