ASUS confirmed before that they will update both Zenfone 3 and 4 series to Android 8.0 Oreo, but didn’t technically announced when will it actually happen. Thankfully, some screenshots of the new update have been leaked. Here are the screenshots:
By looking at the screenshots, it seems like there’s not much difference between the new ZenUI and the one running on Android Nougat. But it’s actually a good thing that almost Oreo-goodies are included. Though it’s still not confirmed wether the Zenfone 4 series will feature the same UI.
They had given a time frame: half of 2018, but there has been no news on that since then. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
