Apple is expected to release a “budget” MacBook Air this year and it was rumored that the production for the said device will start H1 of 2018. According to a new report from a source in Taiwan, the production for the new MacBook Air will commence in the second half of 2018.
The new MacBook Air is reported to arrive with slim design and come with Retina high-resolution screen and Intel’s latest notebook processor. Rumours have it that the price for the MacBook might go down to $799 from the usual $999 price.
Another recent news from the company, Apple is allegedly considering the LCD panels which is cheaper than OLED for the new iPhone. The iPhone 9 is expected to sport a 6.1-inch display supplied by Japan Display and Sharp. Results will likely be iPhone 9’s shipment increase from 100 million to 150 million units.
