Apple iPhone 14 appears in renders with known design after screen film leaks

The iPhone 14 Pro has shown from 3D CAD conceptual renderings yesterday. The model will reportedly feature a punch-hole front camera, 8GB of RAM and an Apple Bionic A16 chipset. Now it’s time for the basic iPhone 14 device to appear in renders, and it seems that it may have a well-known rear camera and notch design, different from what was expected.

The alleged images of the new iPhone 14, obtained through an “insider industry insider”, show a look without much news compared to the iPhone 13, which in turn sees few changes compared to the iPhone 12.

The diagonal rear camera layout remains unchanged, although there is apparently a thicker glass frame around the module. The huge notch on the display remains identical, and the iPhone 14 Mini may cease to exist to make way for larger screens.

Apple is planning to announce four new iPhone 14 series models, including two models with 6.1-inch screens and two with 6.7-inch displays. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, possible names for the two lower models, will retain the same notch and overall design as the current iPhone 13.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max should receive a more noticeable design change. The notch will be removed and replaced with a hole. This would be the first time since the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017 that Apple would remove the notch from its flagship phone models.

Apple should also improve the cameras of the new iPhones, and the expectation is that the brand will use more artifices to significantly differentiate the inferior and premium models of the iPhone 14 line. It remains to be seen what tactics these will be.
